Being a member of OFTEC, an inspector may audit our work at any time, ensuring that we uphold our own and their high standards:

• All engineers will hold an identification card confirming the type of oil heating work we are registered for.

• To retain our registration, we are re-assessed every five years.  

• We will only fit the manufacturer’s recommended parts.

• We are capable of self-certifying our work for which we are registered (in England and Wales). This saves you time and money, as non-registered technicians must inform Local Building Control by law or send plans when installing oil-fired appliances.

• You will be issued with a written certificate outlining all the work that has been completed, replacement parts which have been fitted and recommendations for any work that may need doing outside of a standard service.  

• Outside of the standard service, no other work will take place without your or your landlord’s consent. 

• We carry adequate insurance to operate at your property.
